Champions on Ice

Some of you know that I am a HUGE figure skating fan; most of you don't know though. So, I'm a HUGE figure skating fan, and my favorite skater is Michelle Kwan.

Last Friday (August 4th), me, Jeff, and my mom went to see "Champions on Ice," which is a figure skating event featuring Olympic and World Medalists, so the best of the best. I had a GREAT time and it was SO exciting to see the "real" skaters, not the ones you see on TV. They're life-sized! You can actually see how tiny or tall they are!

Okay, so we took some pics, and they're not the best since our camera isn't made to take close-up shots. From the pictures, it looks like we were very far away, but we were actually in the third row from the bottom, and then there are two more rows that are pretty much on the ice; so we were REALLY close.

For those of you who follow figure skating, you'll probably recognize at least some of these skaters. For those who don't follow figure skating, um, it's up to you as to whether or not you want to look.
